But LibrarianMama (aka Amy in Portland) is the winner of Dixit.
And because I can't resist picking one more, Deborah is the winner of Gobblet.
Send me your address, please, and I'll get those games on their way to you.
Thank you all so much for playing, and I wish I could hand-deliver a game to everyone. (Pilgrimage idea? Get Rio Grande games to team up with an RV company and sponsor my around-the-country game-angel service? Hmmmm. . . would I have to learn to drive on the highway?)
Have a wonderful weekend.
xo
Yes please pilgrimage! Call Bossy (iambossy.com) and see who she got at Ford to sponsor her LA vacation! Then come visit us in Philly, we'd love to host you! We can even make it a game night (though we like to meet up at bowling alleys so there are games anyways!).
ReplyDeleteHa! O (MemeGRL, whom I know both in blog and in person) is funny! well, we'll keep trying, maybe next time we'll win too. ;)
ReplyDeleteA game tour sounds like a blast. I've made the cracker dough (?) and need to heat the oven. I can't wait to try them.
ReplyDeleteeven though I didn't win, it's always fun to read you! I vote for Southeastern NC on your 'board game tour' - we have some fun game nights at our house :) also lots of local book shops, you could visit and get them to carry your book
ReplyDeleteAck! So excited! I never win anything! Sending address :) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThank You Catherine!!! I'm so excited, my jaw is sore from hanging open!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats, LibrarianMama and Deborah!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading your game recommendations, Catherine, and also the suggestions from everyone who posted in the comments section. I found "Blink" at a thrift store this week. Would have skipped right over it if I hadn't seen it recommended, but I picked it up and we've been having a blast with it this week.
I'm going to keep an eye out for good deals on all the other great games and also put them on our wish list for birthdays and Christmas. And what the heck, I'll probably splurge and buy a couple before our summer beach trip!
Plazamom--thanks for the great idea to buy a few games before the summer beach trip! I can't imagine why it never occurred to me that it would be a good idea, but it didn't until you said it. Thanks, and I now I have lots of great suggestions about what to get.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to your blog in about a month and was very excited to see all of the new recipes! I've made your buttermilk pancakes twice this week and am waiting to put my 5 minute bread in the oven!
ReplyDeleteOooooohhhhh. Yes! Road trip! Or we could road trip to you....picking up your fans along the way. I promise to include Santa Cruz meyer lemons. :)
ReplyDeleteRVs and board games go hand in hand. I put a bunch of games from the pre-xmas discussion on the kids' want lists and grandma came through so we had oodles of fun things to do on our RV trip from Denver to Padre Island TX. FYI - driving an RV on the highway is a piece of cake - it is the in town driving that is scary - especially those right turns.
ReplyDeleteI'm a little intimidated to go on an RV pilgrimage. Could we camp together? Or rent lots of little cabins next to each other? We could play games, eat crackers, and have minor disasters that we'll laugh about later. I'll bring marjoram, too.
