You guys are the best! I love how excited you are by a good craft book. As you know, I'm the same.
More soon, about Stitch Camp, college visiting (!), and other things.
TGIF. Have a wonderful weekend.

Yay!!!! Thank you so much for the opportunity to win this book! So fun!
ReplyDeleteI think my heart stopped for a moment after I swallowed a cold lead brick. Ben is looking at colleges? Alison
ReplyDeleteToo good to miss. I have just ordered one for my young friend (9 yrs turning 10) Glad to know about this cool book. :)
ReplyDeleteYour Ben is just a wee bit older than the baby of my family. I've so enjoyed college visits with my other kids, but this one has finally won us over to the trade school pitch he's been making for years. I've finally picked apart "academic ambition" from "being a good parent" but I'm still mourning. I'm looking forward to living vicariously through your experiences! The nostalgia! The sticker shock! The swells of pride that overwhelm the small humiliations of having other grown-ups explain how to say goodbye as if one was actually unable rather than just reluctant!
ReplyDeletexo xo I really know what you mean. Ben doesn't like to read, and I have finally accepted him as he is! Honestly. He's not a liberal-arts kind of person and that is OKAY! : )
