I will start!
So cute and funny!
Love checking back in on you guys - been a fan since babycenter. My DS & DD are close to Ben & Birdy's ages, just a little younger I think. I remember when you were imagining Ben having "big kid teeth" and I thought the same thing about my Ben, and thought, that's so far away. My sister lost her pregnancy last night, at 18 weeks, her first child, and I'm thousands of miles away from her, unable to get there and grieve with her, and it makes me feel lost with no idea what to do with my sorrow.

And this sounds weird even to me as I'm writing it, but there's something about reading about making food from scratch, one of my favorite things to do in the world, that calms me. And of course, I still feel like you're an old friend, passing along recipes, catching me up on your kids. I just had my fourth child three months ago, also named Charlotte, just like Birdy's baby. My oldest is six months younger than Birdy. I started reading your column when I was pregnant with him.

Anyway, thank you for all of your experimenting and sharing. I feel like I can go to bed with a sad smile on my face, thinking about all of the comforting foods I can make to heal my soul and nourish my family.

Love to you and yours,

HadleyHadleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09810445267670567520noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31773345.post-58673532081640283322009-11-12T21:40:16.663-05:002009-11-12T21:40:16.663-05:00I just made the cauliflower salad, it is so tasty!...I just made the cauliflower salad, it is so tasty! Back when finding enough calories to live on was a touch-and-go, full time proposition. Now we are awash in calories, with our sugar-seeking gene stuck in the "eat Kit Kats" position.margarethttp://momecology.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31773345.post-87715655393235755652009-11-06T19:31:34.849-05:002009-11-06T19:31:34.849-05:00Hope Birdy is back on her feet!
